Meet the RuPaul's DragCon Queens You Haven't Seen on TV
RuPaul’s DragCon—a weekend stocked to the brim with sickening queens, inspiring panels and, of course, adding numerous new pins to our already-filled jean jackets. After the recent announcement of Trixie Mattel and Katya’s new TV show, the merch was plentiful and the lines were long. Regardless, the convention-goers’ show-stopping looks definitely had us saying “oooh, girl.”
Although the many stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race (Trixie Mattel, Violet Chachki, Aja, Peppermint, and more) came out in full swing, so did the soon-to-be-discovered queens of New York, New Jersey, and around the country. Heads were turning as they sashayed across the Javit’s Center lobby, as many of their looks were handmade and truly one of a kind.
Check out some of our favorite DragCon looks in the gallery above. If your VIP badge got lost in the mail, look out for the filmed footage of the convention on World of Wonder. We can’t wait to see all of our favorite queens and creative New Yorkers out and proud at DragCon 2018.
