Migos Fans Are Petitioning to Get Quavo Featured on The National Anthem
Two months ago, Migos fan Sean Gray decided to put his foot down and demand that Quavo have a feature on the Star Spangled Banner. In a petition addressed to The President and his administration, he wrote:
“It’s the current year, 2017, and I think the nation should get with the times and feature Quavo on the National Anthem. He’s a feature on everything else, so why not?”
Honestly, what a time to be alive.
Gray does has a point; Quavo’s various appearances are so prolific that it’s practically a meme. And let’s just take a moment to imagine it—Quavo’s flow over a crescendo of horns with patriotic ad libs between verses. This would literally be a certified ~moment~ in culture. Fans have been reacting on Twitter and even creating their own versions.
"Oh say can you see,(gas)
By the dawns early light,(drank)
What so proudly we hailed,(skrrrrt)
At the twilights last gleaming,(momma!!!)"

The petition currently has 6,472 of 7,500 supporters and has been picking up speed, especially after Quavo tweeted the following:
SO THEY WANT HUNCHO TO BE FEATURED ON THE NATIONAL ANTHEM LETS ROLL
— QuavoYRN (@QuavoStuntin) August 12, 2017
For months people have been discussing Quavo’s place within and outside of the context of Migos. Could this be a project that elevates Quavo’s status even higher? Who knows? What we do know is that you can sign the petition here if you want to show your support.
