Milk.xyz Travel Diary: Thailand With Jeremy McClain
Jeremy McClain doesn’t sit still for long. So far, we’ve followed him through the stylish meanderings of NYFW and down the rabbit hole of mental health and mood stabilizers, and now he’s back, with a revisiting of his Thai ventures. Decked out in N-p-Elliott, this Ford Models social media savant knew exactly how to capture his trip in all its tropical (and gender non-binary) glory.
“Thailand is a lot of things. Hot. Dirty. Filled with lady boys. Beautiful…”
“Decked in pieces from the S/S ’17 collection of my husband’s line, N-p-Elliott, on my first trip to the country, I did everything from partying with trans beauty pageant queens (who gave me THE BEST beauty editing app I’ve ever seen) in Bangkok’s most poppin’ gay clubs to getting glowed up on the beaches of Koh Samui. I learned that all the beauty products have bleach in them because everyone wants to be as white as possible, mega-malls are the only way to shop (and way more glam than the ones we hung out in in high school), “massage parlors” with people in uniforms sitting outside are actually brothels, and that being gender non-binary is not only normal, but totally accepted.”
