Ones to Watch: Kablito

Kablito is the R&B pop artist serving up a mix of her Ecuadorian heritage and years as a teen in the American midwest for a cocktail of sounds wholly unique. Since the drop of her first EP, Telenovela, last fall, the singer has been riding a wave of success that’s sure to continue with her latest release, “Vete de Aquí”.

With the new track, Kablito is showing off her sharp sound, while relatable AF lyrics hit home.

“’Vete de Aquí’ is very personal song to me. The song is about realizing your self worth and what you want and need in a relationship. I wanted to write a song that inspires people to leave relationships in which they feel mistreated and taken for granted. Making the decision to leave someone you love who isn’t right for you is so hard but also so empowering!”

What’s next for Kablito? More music, duh.

“The response to this song has been amazing and exciting and my heart feels full. I am currently in the process of making my next music video for my upcoming single ‘Yo Nunca Te Quise’ which will drop sometime early July. So excited for it and can’t wait to share!”

While you wait for the next release to drop, peep fresh photos above of Kablito, shot by photographer Ben Askinas in Los Angeles, California.
