Panorama Set to Reign as NYC Epicenter of Music, Art, + Tech
The countdown is on: Panorama festival is exactly 200 days away, and with the official lineup unveiled as of this morning (Solange, Frank Ocean, and A Tribe Called Quest, stand up), summer 2K17 can’t come soon enough.
In case you’re not up to speed, Panorama (which we had the honor of helping to launch last year) takes music to a whole new sensory level, but that’s not its only area of expertise. With the return of the interactive art installation space The Lab (according to the fest, a “playground of music and technology”), the fest is exclusively spotlighting New York City-based artists, and putting them front and center—in a massive dome decked out with one-of-a-kind visual and auditory cues.
Also making an appearance: The Point—an open-air club at the physical center of the festival. Shaded, misted, and always accessible, it’s the best of both worlds, acting as both a retreat from the heat of the moment and as the home of Panorama’s finest DJ selects—all in one place. And the cherry on top of this three-day fest? A huge AF array of locally-sourced eateries and craft brews at your fingertips from the best restaurants in NYC.
If it wasn’t obvious, Panorama is slated to be the epicenter of fashion, culture, music, and art (and food!) this July. Mark your calendars for July 28, 29, and 30, and in the mean time, peep the full lineup below (grab your tickets starting January 13). Images via The Verge and Panorama
