Premiere: "Don't See You" by Alt R&B Queen Moxiie
If you’re not yet acquainted with Moxiie’s sultry, infectious approach to R&B, take note: this experimental songstress is combining a love of pop icons (think Prince, MJ, and Madonna) with her raw, real lyrics for a sound all her own. Premiering exclusively on Milk.xyz, “Don’t See You” is just the latest in a series of singles that make Moxiie one to watch.
“‘Don’t See You’ was inspired by me reflecting on all the times I trusted too much in spite of my intuition,” she says. “That goes for people and certain situations. At the end of the day you can’t be woke without acknowledging that and moving on. That’s what this song is for me. Not playing the victim & just owning it.”
You heard it here first: stay woke, fam. Check the new track below.
