Premiere: Listen to "Family" by Lauren L'aimant
Lauren L’aimant is no stranger to the fast track to fame (her career exists in part thanks to select singles like “Hiding”, in collaboration with Icarus, specifically) and one listen to the brand-new “Family” speaks to that same viral tendency. The fresh track, off of L’aimant’s upcoming debut EP, hits close to the heart, touching on neediness and relationship on an intimate level that leaves a mark of tenderness. What’s more, “Family” is also a collaboration with Team Summit for the “Million Makers” program in aid of the Princes Trust, making it that much more special.
“I wrote the song about being there for someone when they’re in need, even if they don’t ask for your help,” she says. “I want it to be a reminder that love and togetherness is what life is all about—especially during troubling times in our lives.”
L’aimant’s “Family” is another in a slew of songs practically made for stardom; see for yourself by listening to the new track below, exclusively on MILK.XYZ.
