Premiere: "Sugarcoated Love" by RIMON
Being in love is emphatically all-consuming. It’s not always easy, but when it’s real it’s worth it. Though we experience love at varied degrees, there’s something inherently singular about that unwavering bond of calm, secure, and honest affection conjoining two committed souls.
“Isolated in perfection” is what RIMON, Amsterdam’s soulful new sound, called the embodiment of this feeling, explicitly illustrated in the music video for her new single, “Sugarcoated Love”. The serene video openly translates RIMON’s sentiments of secluded intimacy with only two people shown throughout—no one else. “[It’s] a song about showing affection, the passion and the little fear that comes along with loving someone. Being fully in love, but at same time knowing that it might be a little too much. So sweet that it might hurt your teeth,” referencing a line from the song.
