100% of proceeds from the mix will benefit the Foundation for Sickle Cell Research.

Premiere: "What Do You Say" (Book's RIProdigy Mix) by BOGA

If philanthropic art that also happens to be dope isn’t your idea of a match made in Heaven, we’re not sure what is. This Thursday, BOGA is delivering exactly that; and in honor of NYC’s own Mobb Deep, the duo is releasing a brand-new remix of the iconic track “What Do You Say”.

The release of “What Do You Say” is specifically tied to one half of Mobb Deep, Prodigy—who’s death from Sickle Cell Disease has prompted BOGA to donate 100 percent of proceeds to the Foundation for Sickle Cell Research.

“Mobb Deep were a huge influence on the production of our songs and we had actually talked about flipping this sample late last year,” BOGA says. “With the original version of ‘What Do You Say?’ being recently released, we wanted to release the remix but, given Prodigy’s untimely passing, we decided that all proceeds from the song would go to Sickle Cell research. Sickle Cell Disease affects more than 2 million people in America, and yet research is drastically underfunded.”

A dope track for a good cause? Sign us up. We couldn’t be more stoked to be premiering BOGA’s “What Do You Say” mix and supporting Sickle Cell research nationwide. Check the new track below and visit the Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research here.
