Reminisce on NYFW With Richie Shazam [NSFW]

Milk sat down with NYC Renaissance Man Richie Shazam to recap his week of NYFW madness. Peep his personal rundown below.

The photo series features my muse, partner in crime, and creative guru Briana Andalore. Briana inspires my creativity and spontaneity with her innovative and referential looks. She meticulously pieces together genius ensembles that push boundaries and turn heads! She pairs her signature cat eye glasses with sparkles, gems, and with a fearless wing-tip that blows minds.

She possesses strong makeup and hair skills that pushes one to experiment; when she opens her mouth, you can’t help but be captivated and want to know…who is she? What planet did she land from? I need to know!

Briana and I had a magical journey this past week.

The best part was…Briana decided to a wear a transparent body stocking that revealed her luscious curves and truly pushed every boundary in the book by essentially being naked! If anyone was to do it, it would be her. Showing her body-positive outlook and forward thinking is taking the ultimate stance of showing people how to be comfortable in their skin, which I absolutely love about her and is the reason why she is my best friend.

We went to the incredible Adam Selman show where she served up ’60s PINK head to toe high glam.

We twirled in ball gowns with J. Mendel in the iconic Ladurée Soho, feeling the upmost sophistication; like royalty with a downtown edge.

We ventured to the always busy and chaotic Times Square, where the nostalgic MTV TRL used to be for the awesome VFILES Show. We both were wearing our favorite dazzling sequin-loving designer Ashish.

We danced with our friends at the Marc Jacobs Beauty party, where we picked up essential makeup tips from the Instagram greats!

The week was topped off with the most spectacular show and craftsmanship of Thom Browne, which invigorated our brains while arousing our senses.

Our favorite event was the Bjarne Melgaard opening of “The Casual Pleasure of Disappointment” at Red Bull Arts, where the underground vibe and music had our hearts beating—reminding us of our earth-shattering experiences in Berlin. We spent hours walking and breathing intensely in the incredible two floor installation that left us speechless.
