#TBT: Once Again, Camp Flog Gnaw Comes Out on Top
The Seventh Annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival occurred this past weekend at Dodger Stadium and it was nothing short of amazing.
Without a doubt, CFG was my personal choice for “festival of the year,” as it showcased some of the biggest and brightest acts in today’s music industry.
The star-studded bill included some emerging artists such as Ama Lou, Rex Orange County, Tierra Whack, and Raveena while also including the some of the biggest names in music such as The Internet, Jorja Smith, Ms. Lauryn Hill, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, Post Malone, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, and Tyler the Creator…to name a few!
With no shortage of talent between the two stages, it made it very tough to leave and explore the rest of the festival.
If you did get a chance to step away, there were some amazing areas such as the Okaga National Mall which included exclusive festival merch like a new colorway of the Golf Le Fleur x Converse sneaker, Earl Sweatshirt’s new brand Deathworld, and Kids See Ghosts merch.
The KSG booth was one of the main attractions of the weekend due to the limited edition pieces from the collaboration between Kids See Ghosts and Cactus Plant Flea Market. If you managed to get your hands on that merch, you either had some extreme patience (line averaged a three hour wait) or you had the plug. Wish they would have told us it would now be available online…smh.
In addition to that, there was an amazing array of traditional carnival attractions and games including a ferris wheel, bumper cars, and more, with prizes including items from Tyler the Creator’s very own brand, GOLF.
To sum it all, Tyler, you did an amazing job.
See you next year…
