Check what we're loving this week.

The Weekly Editors' Picks

Poised for a long weekend of sunshine and Memorial Day happenings, the team only has one thing on our mind: what beauty products do we need, what candles should we light, and what the hell should we wear? Ok, so that’s three thingsbut they’re all equally pressing. Below, a few of our must-haves. Happy summer holidays, fam.

R09M Montauk Midnight CandleIf you’re stuck in the city while everyone jets off this Memorial Day Weekend, not to worry—R09M is bringing the beach to you. Seriously, this candle is like a mini, portable Montauk. Tote it around with you wherever you go…no judgements here. – Mathias

MatteAnyone who knows me will tell you I am obsessed with designers who capture both simplicity and the distressed elements of elevated basics. Meet Matte Brand by Briana Wilson, a young designer of color who, according to Vogue, “re-examines the notion of nude” with seasonal lines of beige, caramel, and cinnamon colored fabrics alongside her newly launched denim looks. Although I love a good nude and washed denim, I recently purchased the black North Sweatshirt (pictured) and matching black North Sweatpants. Matte Brand has been buzzing all over Instagram with their affordable stylish looks, so be sure to check it out for the perfect beach sweaters and summer fits. – Kristie

LightStim for WrinklesAn at-home wrinkle treatment that is just too good to pass up. LightStim for Wrinkles uses the latest LED light and Multi-Wave technology combined with potent peptides to clarify, smooth and firm tired skin. It takes a few months to get the the results you want, but trust me, my laugh lines are no more. – Bianca

Skin Authority Body Polish Duo
There is nothing better than buttery, baby soft skin. With Skin Authority’s Body Polish Duo you can achieve just that. The smell of both of these lotions is natural yet inviting. Sweet fig and enchanting olive will take you on a journey to another planet, maybe an island in the sunthe perfect place to show off your polished epidermis. – Bianca

Le Labo Thé Noir 29
Sweet summer in NYC brings some awful smells, but not to worry—Le Labo is here to save you. I believe it is safe to say that the majority of their fragrances are unisex and smell completely divine. My favorite is Thé Noir 29. This perfume is very complex with many undertones of different elements that come together to deliver a musky and floral experience. – Bianca

The Met’s Rei Kawakubo/Comme Des Garçons: Art of the In-Between ExhibitionBecause you’re reading this, I trust you have a computer, accessible wi-fi and unimpaired vision, which means that you definitely saw media coverage of The Met Gala a few weeks ago. The event celebrated the Costume Institute’s exhibition honoring Rei Kawakubo, illustrious designer and visionary behind Comme Des Garçons. If your only exposure to the showcase thus far has been Rihanna’s red carpet look, consider paying a personal visit to the exhibition. The pieces will strike you with wonder, inspiration, and desire. There’s also a makeshift CDG gift shop full of Kawakubo goodies, and with the price of attendance being donation-based, the show is a steal depending how willing or frugal you are. – Brandon
