This is How Miyako Bellizzi Does Paris Fashion Week
In an industry that measures success not by talent or creativity but by likes and clicks, identifying the true creatives can be a difficult task. Which might explain why we’re so smitten with Miyako Bellizzi. The NYC-based photographer, stylist, and sometimes model is the type of woman you want to, well, be—or at the very least, be friends with. The type who’s relentlessly driven, who can casually spearhead style trends in her sleep, and who wouldn’t let any amount of success compromise her artistic integrity. While attending the various fashion weeks in Europe last month, Bellizzi first documented her travels around Milan for us—and now she’s back with another photo diary that chronicles her time spent in Paris.
Below, find a brief introduction penned by Bellizzi—and then check out her photos above, complete with her colorful commentary.
This was another new experience for me as I had never been to Paris during fashion week before. I went alone and a bit nervous that I didn’t know many people in Paris and had no idea what it was going to be like. My trip went quite differently than I thought it would, and I rarely spent any time alone. I met a bunch of amazing people and had the best time. So good that I think I might need to go back and stay awhile.
