Tino Razo's "Party in The Back" Takes on Mexico City
Thought the Tino Razo party was over? Not so fast. Last weekend, Milk Gallery took to the skies and landed 2,000 miles south, in the land of Frida, skaters, and bomb-ass street tacos: Mexico City. Opening night for “Party in The Back” take two was nothing short of a rager. On Saturday, May 27, the crowds came flooding in, their anticipation of what was to come practically bouncing off the walls. They weren’t disappointed; with 39 photographs on display, all shot by Razo, of course, and original graffiti gracing the main entrance door courtesy of Neckface, DJ Rodrigo Blanco from Rey Pila had a rager on his hands from the very start.
Hosted at Mexico City’s delectable Anonymous Gallery, “Party in The Back” was also visited by some extra dope VIP guests: namely photographer/director Chris Shonting, and two of the most famed shredders out there: Jerry Hsu and Kevin Long. Visitors were able to get their moment alongside some of the skate world’s finest, and even snag a souvenir for the road (get your own merch goodies at the Milk Gallery store here). If it isn’t obvious already, this night was truly one for the books. Peep the photos above to see for yourself, and if you’re in Mexico City, visit this show IRL: Calle Lago Erne 254, Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX. “Party in The Back” will be on view until June 15.
