Weekend Recap: HOTMESS Took Over Milk LA
ICYMI, the creative geniuses Luka Sabbat, Noah Dillon, and Curtis Eggleston took over Milk LA last Thursday night, kicking off their newest HOTMESS exhibit with a party that will go down in the books. The exhibit, titled, “Wherever Whenever”, marks the second iteration in the ongoing HOTMESS series, the first being an exhibit held at Milk in NYC during NYFW in February. Inspired by “western culture”, their new exhibit showcases a series of photographs along the wall, and is elevated with the addition of a life-size, white horse figurine, with colorful flowers woven into a chain-link fence surrounding it. In a sick partnership with The North Face, the HOTMESS team brought along Evan Tattoo, an incredible NYC-based tattoo artist to ink up guests and visitors in a geometrically paneled, dome-shaped camping tent. A unique interpretation of American “Wild West” culture, HOTMESS has unsurprisingly managed to kill it once again.
