Weekend Recap: Relive P4K Fest 2019

The opening day of Pitchfork Music Festival Chicago was hot-hot… so perusing sunglasses and posters under the shady Renegade Craft Fair tent was exactly what this year’s 15,000 attendees needed before Haim’s headlining set. And yes, all festival-goers were evacuated on Saturday due to a torrential downpour, cutting short Parquet Courts’ set. But that didn’t stop everyone from returning on Sunday for the remaining acts. On the final day, Chicago-native band Whitney beckoned the sun back out with “Golden Days” along with fellow festival acts Soccer Mommy, Tasha, Lala Lala, Ric Wilson, and Chai lending their voices on stage.

Despite the unpredictable weather, P4K Fest 2019 will go down as one of the most memorable years for Chicago’s chillest music festival. Check out the photo diary above to see our favorite highlights of this past weekend.

Stay tuned to Milk for more festival recaps.
