The latest celebrity child to nail a big-time fashion campaign is none other than Willow Smith.



Willow Smith Stars In New Chanel Eyewear Campaign

It’s tragic, but true: celebrity kids are not just like us. Their lives are just way, way better. Case in point: the perennially cool Willow Smith, who was just named the face of Chanel Eyewear. Like fellow celeb spawn Kaia Gerber and Lily-Rose Depp, instead of scooping at the Dairy Queen or counseling at camp, these teens get to spend their summers as the faces of massive luxury fashion houses. Ugh, curse you mom and dad.

Why be tired when you could be…fashionably tired?

Smith, who is famed for both her excellent music and status as a Woke Teen (also for being delightfully nutty—for those who haven’t read it, we beg you to check out this gloriously insane New York Times’ T Magazine interview with her and brother Jaden Smith), looks awesome in the campaign. We especially enjoy how she rocks a belt as a choker.

A statement from Chanel read, “A multifaceted artist, writer-composer-singer and actress, Willow Smith is the embodiment of her generation’s spirit. Her youth and energy charmed Karl Lagerfeld who has invited her to join the family of CHANEL muses.” Well, we already thought that Willow Smith was dope, but if The Kaiser agrees, we’re doubling down on it.
