Clara Chin

Clara is a writer from greater Los Angeles who dabbles in piano, harpsichord, and stop-motion animation. She likes to explore issues of emotion and femininity in the digital age through editorials, essays, and fiction. Both a pop culture and literary theory enthusiast, she is fascinated by the relationship between theoretical aesthetics and aesthetics IRL—and how we decide what’s ‘intellectual’ and what’s ‘superficial’. Clara can typically be found reading Freud’s case studies for her senior project at Dartmouth College while listening to Lana del Rey and drinking black coffee.
