Fariha Roisin Is Speaking Her Mind

Introducing #MilkLoves: the definitive Milk roster of ones to watch in 2018. Follow along as we reveal our top 10 favorites to slay this year in activism, artistry, and more.

Fariha Roisin has a way with words, and she’s not wasting anytime getting her point across. As Milk’s “Most Likely to Combat Islamophobia”, Roisin represents an all-inclusive, anti-discrimination movement (within the arts community, and beyond), that’s redefining what it means to express oneself. For Roisin, the definition varies, but as far as the new year, she’s focusing on “more self-caring and less self-sabotaging” (a mantra we would all do well to adopt).

For Roisin, 2017 was one for the books; with her work appearing in the likes of Vogue, Teen Vogue, and Allure (amongst many others), the writer was able to continue creating healing work that focuses on self expression and empowerment. In 2018, she plans on “being all love everyday baby” and is most excited for “revolution in America.” Hats off to that.
